PARADOX

The void of skin can change how you view a body. The start and end of
worn, and tired skin being engulfed by grasping leather, smoothing the years put on it.

When put in a position like this, where does our body cease to exist as itself and begin to merge back into flesh.

Yet while we see no human in these figures, we are compelled to confront
our emotions. How does something so unfamiliar and un-human become the closest you can be with someone.

There is a paradox in our coverings; by concealing our skin, we touch
deeper into our inner selves during our most private moments
Everything is about skin, how we feel the cool breeze or the boiling oil
splashed on our hands, even the paper this statement is printed on is made
to mark our skin forever, the placement for the pain and bleeding to come.
